Explanation of the different movie versions:

There are two can versions in the movie, the one in the bar where Nedry get the can and the version in the lab where Nedry put the DNA vials into the can. The difference is the area betweeen the collector rings, one version they are flat and round the other version contains a specific geomtery. You can choose between the versions and you can also get a can which look like it was retrived from the park, weathered with real mud (its so prepared that nothing peels of) Inside it contains the cry holder as a lab edition or a can with rust.
